Recycle The Used Soap Flakes And Used Water For Brand New Bars Of Soap With The Re-Q Soap Maker

Have you ever tried making soap at home?? It is too much of trouble and risky and using all that Lye and heating. But I still love homemade soaps and I am all for recycling. I recently came across this soap maker. You can have it at home and it will recycle all the used waste water and the left out soap flakes to make a brand new soap in minutes.

Re Q Soap Maker

Designers Jung Hwan Song & Kim Jong Won have designed a three stage soap maker that prepares soap from the waste water. When you pour the soapy used water into the machine, it removes the waste and separates it from water. You can add the last bits of your used soap into the machine. All the waste water and used soap flakes added into it the mechanism gets to work and a brand new soap bar is ready to be used. There is a round tray like soap holder in the lowest unit of the machine. You can just remove it and find nice soap bars inside.

Eco Friendly Soap Maker

The design and process is incredibly amazing but what is amusing and puzzling is how to collect the waste water? Won’t it drain away while you use the shower or basin? Maybe the one used for washing veggies can be used. Bath water can definitely be collected but I am not one of the fortunate few who get to use the bath that often. Normally a quick shower and I have to zoom off to work. Wonder whether it uses the soap that is dissolved in the water, the used bath water can be the best in this case.
