Samsung gives a new look to Hard drives with G series

The world saw a wide range of development in the flash drives but now the turn seems of the hard drives. And the first attention is brought by none other than the world leader of the digital and information technology; the Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. Samsung announces the new line up of hard drives, the G series. This Samsung G series is an eco-friendly concept targeting the youth market which looks for the fashionable portable drive yet should be reliable. This G series comes in green, blue, silver white and the black colours.

We usually don’t prefer covering the hard drive but Samsung thought out of box and gifted us this G series having 2.5 inch G2 portable with the wide densities of 250/320/500/640 GB and a 3.5-inch G3 station with 1/1.5/2TB versions. This drive is halogen-free has low power consumption with low noise levels and meets all the ROHS regulations for being eco-friendly. Because of the power management of G3 station it can be turned off and on by the host computer. The G3 also reduces the power consumption by 95% and gets on standby mode if inactive for five minutes. So when ever they are in the market I am going to grab one for a Christmas gift to my sister.
